US Postal Service (USPS) coming to PharmaCare of Frostburg

It has been officially announced by the US Postal Service (USPS) that PharmaCare of Frostburg has been awarded the contract for a contract postal unit (CPU) in the Frostburg area. Just like PharmaCare's Bedford Road location and PharmaCare West, the Frostburg location will become a full-service unit of the USPS offering stamps and shipping services, domestic and international.

The new post office will open Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Post office hours will be the same as the store – Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Pick-up times have not been confirmed by the postmaster yet.

Flu Vaccine Notifications

Would you like to be notified when the 2010-2011 seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine will be available? If yes, click here and sign up for the FREE vaccine notification service provided by PharmaCare. Again this year there will be several public flu and pneumonia vaccine clinics available throughout the community for your convenience.

Zostavax (Shingles) Vaccine Clinics

The PharmaCare Network will be conducting immunization clinics on the following dates:

Friday, September 10th, 9am to 12noon - Bedford Road & Frostburg retail locations

By Appointment Only (* Call to schedule an appointment)

* Your primary care physician must write a prescription for this vaccine to be administered. Please talk to your doctor to discuss Shingles, and to see if the Shingles Vaccine (Zostavax) is right for you.

Vaccine - $180.00 and Administration - $20.00

We will bill Medicare Part D and participating 3rd party drug plans for vaccine. We will bill Medicare Part D for eligible recipients for administration fee.

Need to Refill Your Prescription?

If you are a current customer at one of our retail pharmacy locations and would like to have your prescriptions refilled, PharmaCare now offers two convienant ways to request your refill:

1. Call your prescription in to our pharmacy using our new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. If, at any time during the call, you need to speak with a member of our staff, simply press "0".
