Zostavax (Shingles) Vaccine Clinics PharmaCare recently announced the dates for upcoming Zostavax vaccine clinics… Friday, March 19th – 10am to 2pm (at PharmaCare’s Frostburg and Bedford Road locations) Friday, April 23rd – 10am to 2pm (at PharmaCare’s Frostburg and Bedford Road locations) By Appointment Only (* Call to schedule an appointment) * Your primary care physician must write a prescription for this vaccine to be administered. Please talk to your doctor to discuss Shingles, and to see if the Shingles Vaccine (Zostavax) is right for you. Vaccine - $180.00 and Administration - $20.00 (We will bill Medicare Part D and participating 3rd party drug plans for vaccine. H1N1 Vaccine Clinics The PharmaCare Network has the H1N1 Flu Vaccine available. The vaccine is FREE to everyone. PharmaCare Infusion offers on-site clinics for your organization or business at no cost. If you would like to schedule an appointment or on-site clinc, or have any questions please call PharmaCare Infusion Services at 301-723-2440 or e-mail them at mvalentine@3ipc.com. As noted by the CDC, supplies of the vaccines to protect against the 2009 H1N1 virus are increasing. The CDC is encouraging people who have been patiently waiting to receive the 2009 H1N1 vaccine to get vaccinated now. Influenza is unpredictable, but flu is expected to continue for months, caused by either 2009 H1N1 viruses or regular seasonal flu viruses. This vaccine is the best way to protect against the 2009 H1N1 pandemic virus. If you are a current customer at one of our retail pharmacy locations and would like to have your prescriptions refilled, PharmaCare now offers two convienant ways to request your refill:

1. Call your prescription in to our pharmacy using our new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. If, at any time during the call, you need to speak with a member of our staff, simply press "0".
