PharmaCare's Home Medical Department is the most complete and comprehensive provider of home medical equipment and durable medical supplies in the tri-state area. A dedicated and professional team of respiratory therapists, insurance billing specialists, customer service representatives, and delivery/installation/service technicians is waiting to serve you. You will find quality products and unique services that will provide comfort, convenience and care.
The department is accredited by the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation (HQAA). Its staff is highly skilled in working with 3rd parties, Medicare and Medicaid to obtain approvals and coverage for durable and home medical equipment. Rentals are also available.
Respiratory Care Services
If you or someone in your family has special respiratory needs, PharmaCare's Respiratory Care Services can help with oxygen set-ups and other related services. The PharmaCare's Respiratory Care Services consists of three (3) highly trained and professional respiratory therapists.
Together, the team of professionals in Respiratory Care Services have over 53 combined years of experience in the respiratory field.
PharmaCare's respiratory team provides the following respiratory services to homecare patients and/or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) procuring our respiratory services.
- Arterial Blood Gases (SNF Only)
- BiPAP and CPAP Therapy
- Nebulizer and Aerosol Therapy
- Oxygen Therapy
- Pulse Oximetry
- Tracheostomy Care
- Ventilator Management (SNF Only)
PharmaCare's Respiratory Care staff will provide training on the use of equipment and procedures for therapy through scheduled in-services. Any skilled nursing facility is eligible for this invaluable education program. This program is ideal for new nursing staff, as well as, for reviewing vital respiratory care with tenured staff.
The in-servicing of staff for use of oxygen equipment, nebulized medications, trach-care, and ventilator function can be arranged by contacting the Respiratory Care staff.
