Wellness is a state of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual balance and not just the absence
of disease. PharmaCare introduces a multifaceted WellCare program which can be tailored to fit
any business,organization, or individual. Research has shown that wellness programs positively
impact employee satisfaction: decreased absenteeism; increased connection to company values;
reduced turnover; and increased job satisfaction. Our qualified staff can create a program
to match your population's needs or you can choose from a variety of programs. The choice is
yours. Let our qualified staff design a program to meet your needs and interests. Choose a
three month, six month, or twelve month program; OR, choose programs " a la carte".

Children are two to three times more likely than adults to get sick with the flu because of their less-developed immune systems. School-aged children also tend to have higher rates of influenza infection because of their close contact with friends and classmates who frequently spread germs among one another by sharing pencils, drinks and food. During bad flu seasons, nearly 30% of school-aged children get sick and miss about 38 million school days a year.
Influenza is a serious disease that kills nearly 100 American children younger than 5 years of age every year. In fact, more children die from the flu than from chicken pox, whooping cough, and measles combined. Approximately 20,000 children under the age of five are hospitalized due to the flu each year.
The flu vaccine can help children avoid influenza during the flu season and help stop the spread of the virus to their families and communities. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all children 6 months through 18 years of age get vaccinated against the flu each year.
Other way to avoid the spread of germs is to teach your children proper handwashing techniques, covering their mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, encouraging them to exercise and get enough sleep each night, and to not share food and drinks with other children. By following these simple guidelines and getting the flu shot, you can help your family survive the flu season.
