Preventative Vaccines
PharmaCare offers preventative vaccines including, but not limited to:

We strongly recommend you discuss the need for preventative vaccines with your primary care physician. We bill most 3rd party prescription insurances for vaccines. While appointments are not required, it is recommended patients call the pharmacy location of choice before going to get vaccinated.
On-Site Vaccination Clinics
PharmaCare offers on-site vaccination services to individuals who are homebound. There is no additional fee for this service. To find out more, call 301.723.2440 to talk to a nurse about your vaccination needs.
Each year during flu season, PharmaCare offers on-site flu clinics to businesses and organizations, at no additional charge. It’s a great way to get people vaccinated while not having to spend time going to the doctor’s office. It’s quick and easy. There is no charge for this service. Services
Long Term Care at Home
Long Term Care at Home (LTC@H) service offers individuals delivery of their medications, combined with the medication synchronization and compliance packaging. Outgoing patient support is also provided to these customers. Qualified customers live in their home and are either -
- Enrolled in a home and community based service (HCBC), waiver program or PACE program; OR
- Have activities (and instrumental activities) of daily living which require assistance

Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
A pharmacist meets one-on-one with you to review all your medications and health conditions. The benefits of this comprehensive medication review include - a better understanding of how medications interact with each other and any potential side effects, lower unnecessary medication use and costs, plus increased communication between you, your physician and your pharmacist - all at no charge to you.
