Infusion Pharmacy & Nursing Services
Our Mission
Our mission is to safely provide patient-specific, cost-effective infusion therapy and specialty pharmacy solutions and nursing services to residents throughout the tri-state area.
About Us
Since 1987 PharmaCare Infusion Services has been providing compassionate, comprehensive care outside the hospital to patients who have acute and chronic conditions. We combine high quality home infusion with specialty pharmacy services, enabling us to manage a range of complex conditions in the patient’s home, physician’s office or skilled nursing facility. Every therapy is supported by our specialized team of nurses and pharmacists.
Our team also provides infusion nursing and pharmacy services to residents of long-term care facilities. Our infusion nurses educate the facility nurses on a wide range of infusion care topics with hands-on training.
PharmaCare Infusion Services is fully accredited by ACHC (Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc.).

Travel Vaccines
Whether you are traveling abroad for business, pleasure, mission or education you should check to see if there are any vaccinations you may need. We want you to be safe from disease and illness. The only thing you should bring back from your travels is memories, not sickness.
Our nursing team will discuss your travel plans including activities and accommodations plus review your health history to determine what vaccines, if any, you need for safe travel. Please contact us at least 21 days before your departure so arrangements can be made to complete all vaccinations needed.
Travel vaccines offered by PharmaCare’s Travel & Vaccination Center include, but are not limited to:
- Yellow Fever*
- Typhoid
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Rabies
* Please note – PharmaCare is an approved yellow fever vaccine provider. We are able to provide travelers with the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Yellow Card (international certificate of vaccination). The Yellow Card is recognized internationally, and may be required for entry to certain countries where there is an increased health risk to travelers.
The Center also offers prescriptions for malaria prophylaxis and traveler’s diarrhea treatment.
Call 301.723.2440 to discuss your travel vaccine needs.
Skilled Nursing Facility Services
In addition to supplying the IV medications, equipment and supplies for the infusion services, the infusion team works together with the nursing staff at contracted skilled nursing facilities. Services include training and instruction for IV therapies in the facility. PharmaCare’s team can serve as the back-up for facility nursing staff for problems with infusion equipment, troubleshooting and peripheral insertions. A registered nurse and pharmacist are available 24/7 to assist facility staff with IV needs.
